It's never been so fun to be a purse...

There I was, minding my own business, when all of a sudden I was whisked away by a beautiful blond (well, almost blond)... This is where the story gets exciting!
First, how shall I describe myself? I am larger, but not too large, I have curves, but in all the right places, and I have handles... Black shiny handles... I am red with white stripes and have big brilliant yellow flowers all over me! I am the Katharine Hepburn purse from Ladybug Designs!

My story takes me from the boutique style shelves of Color Me Green Salon, where I sit daily watching Rachele's clients come and go, on an adventure that I won't soon forget!
As I said before... there I was, minding my own business... As usual a couple clients came in, one with short dark blond hair and a big smile (she looks familiar, she designed me), and the other, younger, very pretty with long blondish hair and an equally big smile. They soon disappeared from view and I could hear them chatter at the one applied makeup and helped decide on a hair style. All of these things being completely normal with me being in a salon all day, I didn't really think anything of it... then... all of a sudden the beautiful blond, let's just call her Amelia, picked me off the shelf, along with my friend Bette Davis and a Katharine Hepburn mini, and we were off on an adventure!
We drove for what seemed like hours, I couldn't see much because they had tossed me into the seat of the van, but of what I could see, we were traveling into a place I had never seen before... there were trees and grass and big buildings that looked like they needed a little tender loving care... finally, we stopped and Amelia changed clothes. She was wearing the most adorable red top and black leggings, and then I saw them... shoes... oh shoes... they matched me perfectly! There was a green pair and a red pair, all shiny and new! I was so excited because this meant that I was the next to be part of what I had heard whispered about at the salon just a few weeks prior by a couple of the other purses... I was the main attraction in a photo shoot!! Yay! My heart soared, and to be paired with such a lovely lady, I couldn't have been happier! One shot after the next I tried to look my best, and I think I did! Miss Amelia helped to pose me just right, you  know, catch all my best angles, and I was just grinning ear to ear! Even when my turn was over, and miss Bette Davis and my mini Katharine counterpart had their turn, I just cheered them on and laid back with a smile... catching a cloud or a bird here or there... listening to the two humans giggle...
What a day... What an adventure....
Now I sit here on my shelf knowing that soon I will be whisked away again by a lovely lady. She will take me on an adventure every day... to school to drop off the kids, so the store or even the mall! She will match an outfit with me, and may even buy a pair of shiny new heels (red I think) to match me as we journey together... Ahhh Those will be the best days of my life...

Oh, and a little side note... Here is one of my best shots! :)

And one of miss Bette Davis...

And of course, the adorable Katharine Mini...

All of these shots could not have been created without the fabulous talents of Miss Sarah with Everhart Photography (http://www.everhartphoto.webs.com) and with the talents of Rachele at Color Me Green Salon (http://colormegreensalon.webs.com).

Also, a big THANK YOU goes out to Amelia the model of the day! Here are a couple more of her best shots!
